Ulysse Breting (1812-1891), was high quality manufacturer from Le Locle.
Company produced quality watches and precision watches.
According Kathleen Pritchard , in 1860 the company was awarded a gold medal at the World Exhibition in Besancon and in 1875 it won fourth place in an observatory test at Neuchâtel for a detent pocket chronometer.
The watch is quality piece - pivoted detent escapement is built to high standards.
The balance wheel is big and features golden regulating screws.
All escapement train has golden counterpivots.
Dial is signed by Ulysse Breting, Locle.

Watch appears to be in good condition.
Movement is running as it should.
Case is in ok condition, with very minor wear.
It's hallmarked for solid silver, dust cover is also gold and is hallmarked.
