Beautiful pocket quarter repeating watch in solid gold case.
The watch is equipped with Jacquemarts automatons - moving figures that strikes bells.
Diameter is 55mm, weight is 130 grams.
The silver and gold Cherubs armed with bows and arrows are striking two gongs.
The Jaquemart figures and bells are nicely detailed.
The whole scene is mounted over blued steel background with visible hour and minute wheel (which are seems to be gold).
Automaton is surrounded with solid silver dial with roman numbers.
The watch looks beautiful in it's golden case.
Nice piece, all of it's parts seems to be original: case, verge movement, dial.
Swiss or French production, about 1820.
Condition
Condition is quite good.
Full plate verge fusee movement is in working condition, though I don't guarantee time keeping.
The repeating and Jaquemarts works as it should, strikes well.
Dial seems to be in good condition, with some patination and wear.
Case is in common period condition with minor wear.
