Nice golden antique French pocket watch.
It was made to the end of Crimea war, the dial is painted with the scene of Prize of Sevastopol (Prise de Sevastopol) and signed in French.
The dial is in nice condition, but has slightly visible hairlines between V and VI hours.
The back cover is decorated by skilful engravement, showing officer courting to a young lady.
Back cover is probably not original and substituted by it's previous owner for effect.
Good quality cylinder escapement movement is in good running condition.
All pieces of watch, including dust cover, are made of solid gold.
Diameter is 44 mm, weight is 41 gramm.
