1720s REPEATING Champleve Dial & Pair Cased Verge Fusee British Antique Pocket Watch

Good British quarter repeating pocket watch in silver pair case.
Diameter of outer case is 51mm, inner case is 43mm, thickness is 29mm.

The cases are very nice, outer one is decorated with mythological scene in repousse technique.
Both cases are skilfully pierced and detailly engraved in baroque manner of early XVIII century.

Nice silver champleve dial is unsigned.
Movement is signed by Cabrier London, noted watchmakers dynasty.
Movement very nice, with symmetrical cock, pierced and engraved surrounding plates. It features Egyptian pillars, steel balance wheel, mainspring barrel stopwork with endless screw.



Condition
The watch appears to be in ok condition.
Movement appears to be in good running condition and works in every position.
Repetition strikes as it should
Champleve silver dial is in good condition.
There is old soldering to the cut ornament of one side of the inner case.
The bell is equally soldered. Otherwise good condition.
Outer case has some wear, but is in overall good condition.
