Good verge fusee repeater by Vacheron Constantin.
Diameter is 53mm, heigh is 65mm, weight is 114 grams.
It's a classical piece that can be dated to 1800s approximately.
Movement and dusto cover are signed as Abraham Vacheron Girod in Geneve and bears serial number 16676. According to Vacheron Constantin records, "Abraham Vacheron Girod" signature where firstly used in 1786, when Abraham Vacheron married to Anne Elisabeth Girod.
In 1810 their son Jacques Barthelemy Vacheron start to manage family business and about 1816 he changed signature to Vacheron Chossat & Comp.
Comparable watch is being kept by Vacheron & Constantin museum.
The watch is classical verge fusee piece from early XIX century.
The case is gold (dust cover is gilt metal), but typically for Swiss production of early XIX century it lacks any hallmarks, it has only maker's mark and serial number.
Condition
The bezel is slightly damaged and don't holds glass tightly when front cover is opened - it need to be careful opening it, glass may fell.
Otherwise good condition with normal period wear.
Silver dial is in common condition, with some minor scratches.
Movement is in running condition, repeating strikes correctly.
