Nice and rare antique pocket watch by IWC in 18k gold hunter case.
Diameter is 50mm, weight is 92 grams.
The watch is based on calibre 33, typical example of "Elgin I" family movement (included calibres 32, 33, 34 and 35).
These movements were produced only short period of time, with some reports pointing of about 230 pieces made.
The movement is nicely finished, with engraved balance clock (not all cal. 33 movements have this feature), screwed chatons.
Watch comes in original IWC red leather case.
Condition
The movement is in running condition, though I don't guarantee time keeping.
The dial seems to be in good condition with no visible damages.
Case is in good condition with common period wear.
