Watch features beautiful porcelain dial with nice bold roman letters.
The winds through its center, typical feature for French single-handed watches of late XVII century.
The balance bridge is very nice, it's beautifully engraved and decorated with floral and birds ornament.
Watch is signed by Hommet a Paris.
Tardy mentions Jean Hommet in Paris, active in 1690s.
Condition
Condition is rather nice.
Dial appears to be in good condition.
Movement is running in every position, though time keeping is not tested.
The brass case is in ok condition with some common wear to arabesques.
The hinge is a little worn, otherwise good condition.
