Rare and beautiful pocket watch in gold case.
Diameter is 51mm, weight is 71 grams.
Watch is unsigned - but is almost certainly Geneva production of very early XIX century.
Back cover of the watch is decorated with beautiful enamel painting, depicting a young lady with a child ans spaniel dog over the transparent enamel background.
Painting is performed with exceptional mastership.
The scene is surrounded with half-pearls, as well as a bezel.
Condition
The watch appears to be in good condition.
The enamel is beautifully preserved with very minor surface scratches.
Dial has tiny repaired chip to the edge at VI hours, hardly visible.
Classical full plate movement with verge escapement is in running condition, however time keeping isn't tested.
