Beautiful verge fusee watch with matching chatlain.
Diameter of outer case is 50mm, total length with chatelaine is about 20cm.
Case is decorated with skilfully performed enamel miniature depicting pastoral scene. Watch comes with beautiful chatelain with enamel inserts painted with similar scenes subject.
Should be the production of very late XVIII.
Case is made of gilt brass as well as chatelain.
Watch features classical verge fusee movement and nice dial.

The Meuron & Cie company was active in Geneva, Neuchatel, La Chaux-de-Fonds and Paris around 1800. It produced complicated watches - striking ones, automaton skeletonized- and pedometers-watches.
Pedometer watches were supplied to Jaquet-Droz, among others.
The watches were mostly fitted with gold cases decorated with pearls and enamel.
Meuron & Cie wre involved in active worldwide trading, with representatives located in different countries.
Condition
Watch appears to be in overall good condition.
Movement functions as it should, though timekeeping is not tesed.
Dial is in ok condition condition with reparation near the winding hole and couple of small hairlines between VI and VII.
Enamel painting is in good condition, without any chips or reparations. The single flaw is hardly visible surface scratch.
Nice Louis XV hands, mineral crystal.
