Very nice single handed Louis XIV oignon watch. France, circa 1690.
Diameter is 59mm, thickness is 36mm.
Watch features beautiful porcelain dial with nice bold roman letters.
The watch is winding through the center counterclockwise - interesting feature of French single-handed "onions" of late XVII century.
The watch features big balance bridge, that occupies almost all top plate.
It is very nice, beautifully engraved and decorated with floral and birds ornament.
The case is nicely preserved.
It features an allegoric scene, depicting a figure (most likely Louis XIV) holding symbols of Peace and Prosperity with two putty offering a Love to him.
Watch is signed by Clovzier a Paris.

Claude Clouzier in Paris, became Master in 1696, member of Juri in 1700.
Condition
Condition is quite ok.
Movement is running in every position, time keeping is not tested.
Dial cartouches with numbers VI, VII, IX and XII are fully restored and some of other cartouches have defects.
The brass case is in very good condition with minor wear.
