Beautifully lady 18k gold watch from late XIX century.
It's decorated with multicolor enamel over relief.
Relief is depicting Venus with cupids holding mirror to show her beauty.
Case is also nicely embossed.
It bears French hallmarks for 18k solid gold and manufacturer's mark - "Sté. gén. des monteurs de boites" - French company from Besançon, French city near Switzerland.
Watch is in descent condition. Enamel bears usual small scratches, but seems to be free from flakes.
Beautiful dial with blue numbers and golden accents seems to be free from defects.
Nice gilt Swiss movement with cylinder escapement.
Movement probably is produced by LeCoultre - typical winding wheels with wolf-teeth profile, screwed by three screws each..
It's in good working condition.
Weight is 17,2 grams.
Diameter is 27mm or 1.1", height is 35mm or 1.34".
